Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen at preparation for Yule beer tasting 07.12.17. Clear dark amber. Diminishing pale brown head and lacing. Aroma and taste of dark caramel, brittle and dark bread. A bit waterish.

0,5 boks fra Rema 1000 Ganddal, delt med skibsrederen før forberedelsene til maritim juleølsmaking des-17: klar rødlig rav med flott skum som varer. Minimal aroma, her har de spart på humlene. Smaken lider også av dette, smaker mest karamell, drops og brød. Røvkedelig, med antydning til bæraktig bitterhet i avslutningen.

From can at OSB 06.12.17. Clear golden. Foamy white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of metallic and moderate pilsner malt and hops. Also some grass in aroma.

Can. A lightly hazy pale golden colored beer with a small white head. Grass, hay, yellow apples, some DMS and a touch of pale malts in the aroma. It's medium to thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Sort of sourish, with pale malts in the back of the flavor. Bread notes. Grass, hay and a touch of pine cones and bitterness. Bitterness, cooked vegetables and grass in the finish. Not much interesting going on here. 171020

500 ml can, from Rema 1000, Tau. ABV is 4.7%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly fresh and pleasant aroma of herbal and grassy hops. The flavour is not exceptional, but has tolerable hops and sufficient malts. Better than I feared.
