Sampled @ RB Danish Summer Gathering 2013 day 1, Ulfborg. Bottle. Hazy red color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, leaves and some kind of weird musty flavor that’s just wrong. Poured it away. Sucks.

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, Ulfborg. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are candy sugar, fruits, vanilla, little chocolate, malt and hops. Warming alcohol.

Bottle, 12%. Hazy dark amber/brown with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruits, plume and toffee. Flavour is malt, yeast, dark fruits, medium sweet, plume, little candy and a little raisin.

Bottle @ TSODRBSG13, Ulfborg. Hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with lots of alcohol. Raw and unrefined. 300813

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Ambery brown with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is toasted malts, chocolate, mild nuts as well as some slight floral notes. Flavour is chocolate, mild toasted malts, nuts as well as some slight wooden and floral notes. Somehow this doppelbock got me into thinking Christmas...

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Hazy deep amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is ripe fruits, dry fruits, some caramel, a bit syrup as well as some yeastiness. Flavour is similar, but also has some hints of berries and mild resiny notes. Has a slight alcohol burn to it.

Bottled. Goldeny amber colour with a small off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, a bit spicy with a bunch of yeast as well as some citrusy hoppy notes. Flavour is yeast, some sweet malts, citrusy bitter hops as well as mild earthy and syrupy notes.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small sightly off-white fluffy head. Aroma is fruity, floral and mild sweet malts to it as well. Flavour is caramel malts, some citrus, mild floral notes as well as honey and some nectar. Fruity and citrusy bitter aftertaste. Pleasant IPA, which is not overdoing the hops for once.
