Temporarily nationalised by the Russian government from summer 2023 until winter 2024. Carlsberg Group sold all its assets in Russia at the end of 2024. Current owner is VG Invest LLC.

6/4/2024. Bottle courtesy of Matthias, cheers. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is veggie, grainy, caramel, citrus, sweet malts. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch tart. Light bodied, oily and watery, quite fizzy. Fair.

Bottled 500ml. -at Rusko Bistro Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, bready nose. Bready, cereals, light grainy and sweetish finish. Watery also but easy-drinkable.

Smooth mild beginning. Grainy, soft. Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 28/03/24. Moderately hazed golden to light amber with a thin just off white head. Nose is clove, herb, hedgerow, yeast esters, caramel. Taste comprises bready malts, herb, hedgerow, clove, caramel wafer, straw, touch of green apple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so Hefe but no disaster.

26/3/2024. Bottle courtesy of Matthias, cheers. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malty, citrus, hoppy, corny, floral. Fairly sweet with light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, quite smooth, soft carbonation. Quite okay.

23/3/2024. Bottle courtesy of Matt, cheers. As Baltika Wheat Unfiltered. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is wheaty, malty, bubble gum, banana foams, caramel, bready notes. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily, fizzy.

Bottle 13.01.2022. Very dark brown, thin coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, prunes, bready, wine. Taste: sweetish, caramel, black bread with raisins and prunes, a little chocolate, wine, quite good.
