Description
Ninkasi is the Academia bio brewery, which was founded in 2012 and produces the first and only organic beer in Armenia, available in six varieties. The factory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, with its primary equipment sourced from leading German manufacturers, specifically the advanced and high-tech company BRAUKON in this field.

The Academia bio beer produced here adheres to the standards set in 1516 in Bavaria, following the “purity” law, which dictates that beer can only consist of four ingredients: barley malt, hops, natural yeast, and water.

330ml on tap at the brewpub. Pours opaque brown with a small beige head. Aroma is caramel, yeast, faint roasted malt. Taste is light sweet, watery, caramel, yeast.

330ml on tap at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a medium-sized beige head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, malt. Taste is the same, plus light bitterness.

330ml on tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, grassy hop, malt. Dry finish. As ElDesmadre said – flawless.

Tap at Beer Academy Yerevan. A pretty decent bitter to be honest. Was quite quaffable and a decent colour. Something missing but overall a decent job :)
