Description

375ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Dec 22. Thanks Mark for this. Dark red appearance, small white head. Smooth palate, fruity with good cherry definition although lacks a bright acidic sourness.. carob brings interesting chocolate notes, though thankfully quite mild. Different.

Can. Pours a dark yellow to amber with small head. Aroma is fruity and hoppy, lots of resin, old school DIPA. Medium body. Flavour is malty, sweetish, medium to high bitterness, loads of pine, light resin, lots of grapefruit and citrus, some mango. Old school west coast DIPA, don't find this that often anymore but very enjoyable if you like the bitterness.

375ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 22. Hazed gold with small white head. Fermented with sourdough yeast supposedly. Nicely developed wild organisms, with mild menthol creeping in, gentle acidity, tart moments. Nice.

24th October 2022, mini gathering at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury; just three of us sharing beers and talking bollox. 37.5cl bottle from Mark, cheers mate. Hazy golden pour, wispy head. It's a proper tart sour puss; not really my thing though.
