Description

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep red, luscious and elegant, with beautiful light reflections. Aroma is caramel/molasses, dry fruits, toasted. Body is fairly thin, with average carbonation. Taste is pretty sweet, continuing also in the final, though not excessive.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca scarsa evanescente, color ambrato rosato torbido con lieviti in sospensione, al naso è fruttata fichi d’india frutta a pasta gialla miele agrumi note floreali, in bocca da il suo meglio subito intenso fichi d’india poi tante spezie miele frutta a pasta gialla, lieve astringente, alcool ben bilanciato (pericolosa), carbonazione piatta, corpo medio, dolce non stucchevole ben attenuata, amaro accentuato, secca asciutta nel finale. Spigolosa ma equilibrata. Molto particolare. Decisamente ottima. c. Beer-shop.it 25.02.22

Bottle from Wine Reserve, Cobham. This is presumably the same beer although it now states 'Barrel Aged' on the label. Aroma is vinous and fruity and jammy. Tart. Murky waxy dark brown. Creamy bubbly beige head soon recedes. Medium sour. Tart and vinous. But with the immediate smoothing effect of sweet dark fruits. Tannin edge throughout. Medium bodied. Creamy. Gently fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. A subtle sour. Lovely stuff.

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours orange gold, unclear, very limited foam. Aroma is intensely hoppy, piney, but also toffee, citrus. Body is average, also carbonation, but oily. In my view, too alcoholic. Taste is medium-high bitter. Final is very long and bitter.
