Bottle from The Bonne Cuisine. Flip top pours out with an instant foamy head that fades instantly, what a dud. Aroma strays too far into malty territory, recalling some maibock sweetness. Taste is more on target, light banana and clove flavors. Body is in the zone, although a bit thin. Been a while, and makes me crave a real weizen.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Deep amber-brown with a beige head. Arma of malt, caramel, bread, toasty note, and a light vegetal note. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, bread, a bit sugary, with a light bitterish note in the finish. Light-bodied. Not so good, but drinkable.

Bottle, medium stable creamy head, clear and quite deep gold color, yeast rubbery aroma with just honey hint in the back, light malty flavor with metalic notes and completely dry. Drinkable and even refreshing, but extremely dry and boring.

500ml bottle from local booze shop. Pours a light and cloudy toffee colour with a medium sized white head with average retention. No lacing at all. Big banana aroma. Overall it’s a decent hefeweizen.

500ml bottle from beer shop in north east Moscow. Pours clear gold with a small frothy white head with low retention. Aroma of bread and noble hops and a bit of honey. Taste is sweet and bready. Very light bitterness in the finish. Seems like it is brewed exclusively for the Russian market.

500ml bottle via Gaute, shared at a Saturday night party. Fast declining, white head over a clear, golden body. Poor lacing. Mid-sweet malty smell. Taste of a little malts joined by a basement touch. Distant bitter endnotes. Rather flat in the mouth. Possible to drink (Tromsø 12.10.2013).
