Bottle @ Odense Tasting, December 2010. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Dry and roasted coffee nose and flavor, Chocolate, vanilla and ashes. Smooth. Gets a bit cloying in the end . .

Bottle at The Cad’s Pure Mad Rocket Mon The Beezer Tasting. Pours opaque brown with a thick, tan head. Coffee, roasted malts and light chocolate make up the aroma. Has a great flavor. Sweet, roasty and rich, with chocolate syrup, faint ripened fruit and candy-like sugars. Full bodied wih fine carbonation and discernible warmth. Nice finish, with lingering roast and sweet cocoa. Lots and lots of cocoa, actually, along with mocha and coffee bean. At once strong and mellowed. Really nice.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu) The beer poured black, Its head was long lasting, medium sized and light brown. Aroma had chocolate and roastedness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, roastedness, sweetness, creaminess, vanilla, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was chocolaty and bitter. Another pleasant imperial stout from Evil Twin. I felt a bit suspicious abou the vanilla but it hadn’t been overdone - and for some reason it tasted more like chocolate.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pikkulintu) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was light brown and large. Aroma was roasty, malty and spicy. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, mildly roastedness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A nice imperial stout lacking the unpleasant extremes so many beers of this style way too often present.

Bottled@fonefan (bought at Kihoskh, Copenhagen). Pitch black colour, not much head, but the small thing there is, is brown. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, some roasted malts, mild liquorice and some slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is being very much similar with some slight vanillaish notes as well.

Bottled 33cl @Pikkulintu
Dark brown color, small brown head. Dark malty, a bit vegetably, coffee beans in the aroma. Full-bodied. Very carbonated. Dark malts, dark chocolate, nice hoppyness. Tasty, tasty stout with way too much CO2.

Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate and licorice with a touch of spice. Sweet licorice flavour with spices and plums, and a touch of coffee in the finish

Bottle at The Cad’s Pure Mad Rocket Mon The Beezer Tasting. Deep black-brown pour with a huge - HUGE - tan head. Dark malt nose with light chocolate, oxidation, and roast. A touch of fruits in the flavor, with sweet, mild mocha. Body is medium to full with tingly, strong carbonation and good warmth. Dark fruit, dark malt finish wth some alcohol sting. Quite dry and roasty. Very good, and improved as I drank it.

Bottle at The Cad’s Pure Mad Rocket Mon The Beezer Tasting. Pours cloudy orange-brown with a thick, off-white head. Tropical fruit hop aroma, some malts. Pineapple. Pretty sweet flavor, with crispy malts and honey and fruit, restrained bitterness, more fruits and light pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Has a semi-sticky finish with more tropical frits and some lingering, earthy bitterness. Very nice.

Draught @ Orsted Olbar, Norre Farimagsgade 13, 1364 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee and coffee, chili notes. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, chocolate malt sweet, chili warm finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. To much chili afterburn for me ;O) [20101111]
