Description
Langley was, and still largely is, farm country! We want to share our love of craft beer with the community we grew up in. With every can, bottle, glass or growler that we fill, we will strive to deliver the exceptional customer service of days gone by. Our brewery is built on the traditional old-fashioned country values of hard work, honesty, helping your fellow neighbour, working together and rewarding yourself at the end of a hard day’s work with a well-deserved brew.

Good cloudy pink body with modest foam. Smells of nice chewy sweet cranberry and full raspberry notes. Tastes of nice chewy raspberry, slight cranberry and all with good tartness, nice sugar, lingering sweetness in a good way. Nothing mind blowing but a solid tart fruit sour.

473mL can, pours jet black with a medium light brown head. Aroma is loaded with roasted malt, charcoal, earthiness, and some woody hops. Flavour is full of darkly roasted malt upfront, followed by earthiness, woody hops, and charcoal. The roast is nice, but there's a bit too much charcoal, making this needlessly heavy on the palate without the complexity to go with it. Still, clean, roasty and full-bodied. Good.

Nice muddy copper body and okay foam. Big sharp hops on the nose, big malts coming through, chewy yet highly simplistic. Flavour is hoppy malts, sharp and tangy, lingering hints of pine. Full finish with good oiliness. Nothing's complex here but also no one will complain.

Dakr brownish black body and okay beige foam, modest coffee on the nose but little else. Flavour is sweet coffee, molasses. Sugary. Alcohol well hidden but it's too flat, nothing is layered; just malty alcoholized sugar.

Murky dark brown body and modest light beige foam. Bigly sweet vanilla, sweet biscuit, plenty of chewy sugar. Flavour is heavy sweet fake vanilla, mellow biscuit. Full and dry finish. Oh, that warm spring air is wafting over this patio - extra points for that indeed.

Cloudy yellow body and modest foam. Soft candied muddied vegetal hops, sweet cabbage notes. Flavour is big muddied candy hops, sweet cabbage. Oily finish. I guess I'm at least happy because Langley has a big Korean grocery where I can buy kimchi.
