500ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark sulphureous to beige head. Roasty, minimally smoky, dark and caramel malty, minimally yeasty fruity and grassy hoppy aroma, notes of smoked wood, dark caramel, some plum, bacon wrapped smoked plum, toffee. Taste is bitter, slightly grassy hoppy and mildly bitter, roasty, slightly smoky and ashy, dark malty, hints of smoked wood, wood ashes, a touch of charcoal, salmiac.
Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Well crafted, quite bitter, some Black IPA character (or is it a "Hoppy Smoked Porter?) - good.
Somehow Evil Twin's "Cats Piss" comes to my mind (yeah, "Cats" in the name, self-evident, you might say, but it's about the "Piss"). But that wasn't a Black IPA, was it? However, some nice dirty aspects formed by the dark malt/hops collab.

50cl bottle from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours brown initially, while the full glass results dark purple, almost black, with fine cream foam. Aroma is herbal, woody, roasted. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is quite bitter, pungent. Final is fairly long.

Barwa jasnego bursztynu, opalizujące, piana biała, dość obfita, średnio trwała.
W aromacie karmel, lekki miód, nieznaczne owoce tropikalne.
W smaku półsłodkie, sporo podbudowy słodowej, głównie karmelu. Akcenty chmielowe na drugim planie.
Goryczka średnia z plusem, wysycenie i ciało w normie. Nieco brakuje gładkości od żyta.
Sporo do poprawy, zwłaszcza w aromacie.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, dark yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Resinous, piney and minimally vinous, fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally biscuity, pale malty background, hints of spruce, pine, gooseberry, a touch of tangerine, white grapes, rhubarb, salty cracker. Taste is bitter, resinous and piney, minimally grassy and fruity hoppy, slightly spicy, pale malty basis, hints of salty cracker, spruce, pine, a touch of tangerine and orange peel, old lemon peel; lingering, bitter and minimally mineral, hoppy finish.
Oily texture, smooth and minimally greasy, simultaneously dry palate, very fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Predominantly bitter hoppy, slightly restrained hop flavours, very good mouthfeel - pretty decent.
