Description

Sample via Grumbo, huge thanks for this extremely rare style tick!
Pours a dark brown with a thin head. Aroma of rich malts, dark/dried fruits, figs, prunes etc. Taste is the same, very rich and malty, dark and dried fruits, figs, prunes, raisins, caramel, very sweet. Full bodied, smooth, almost no carbonation. Lovely stuff.

Dark brown. Fairly thick. No head. The aroma is iodine, peat, rich soy sauce...intense, definitely showing up. Thick body, rich, but it's not actually that sweet, not sugary. Some alcohol in the finish. A lot of peat smoke throughout. Doesn't seem especially refined, it's mostly a smoke bomb, but it's not bad.

250mL bottle, pours black, no head. Nose is full of intense smoke, a touch of peated character, roast, and alcohol. Flavour is full of intense peated smoke, alcohol, more smoke, liquid smoke, and yet more smoke, plus more booze, and smoke. Not much residual sugar or malt depth that’s perceivable, just smoke.
