Squawk Brewing Co was founded in Manchester in 2013. At its heart is a love of beer, the people that drink it and the people that make it.
Since the early days we’ve been brewing progressive, hop-forward beers with traditional roots. We’ve a passion for quality, experimentation and ingredients. Our principles were created around our shared ideas of ethical business, sustainability and community.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden yellow, very slight haze. Foamy, white cask head. Nose - orange, apricot and bread. Taste - melon and orange. Lightly bready at the back. Palate - creamy texture, light bodied, fresh finish. Overall - a lovely pint of cask in cracking condition.

Tap at Pelican, Manchester . Dark chesnut brown colour and small off-white head. Nutty, caramalt aroma. Light-bodied. Nutty, vanilla, sweetish, thin.

Pours a lightly hazed pale gold colour with a small frothy white head. The aroma is fruity, stone fruit with tropical and citrus notes. A moderately sweet and fruity taste with a light sweet malt base, tropical and sweet citrus flavours and a light fruity bitterness.

On cask @ Ryries. Appearance - golden and fairy clear. White head. Nose - pear, peach and white grape. Taste - generously pungent tropical fruit with fresh citrus and ripe sultana fruit. Palate - light bodied, dry zesty finish. Overall - great stuff.

440ml can from Beer Shop HQ. Gluten Free. Golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of tropical fruit, mango, citrus, resiny hops. Taste is malt, oats, grain, with juicy fruits, mango, citrus, pine and floral hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
