Thanks for sharing! Sampled bottled @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Dark brown amber. Nose is basic soap varnish bourbon, liquorice sugar. Taste is bit weak sugar, candy, little empty but nice caramel, sugar bourbon, low liquorice, syrup. Body is sugar, low syrup. Bourbon brings expectations of greatness which this isn’t but still quite a fair beer.

Pours nearly black troigh brown. Small white head. Smell is bit roasty, taste is medium thick mild roasted grains, tad sharp. Ok. Mild bitterness. High carbo.medium MF .

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Dark brown with a thin beige head. Soft roasted malts, dark fruits, some cognac maybe. Taste is sweet. Very soft for an imperial stout, it reminds me more of a abbey dubbel to be honest. However, very tasty and smooth drinking.

Bottle @ home. Red-brown color with a dark red glare coming through when held into the light, average sized off-white to beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, raisins, a distant hint of chocolate, dark malts. Taste malts, sweet raisins, malt bitter, a hint of liquor, some alcohol. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not bad.

0.33 l bottle from ’Gall & Gall’ (Zaltbommel) at 5.5% abv, 2017 vintage, best before February 2019, brewed at ’Brouwerij Het Nest’. Clear, golden amber with a large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-floral and slightly grassy aroma of lemon peel, fresh grass, some pineapple and hints of clove. Rather bitter, fruity-grassy and slightly floral taste of lemon, pineapple, grapefruit, some fresh grass and hints of caramel, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, grassy finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice American Pale Ale/hoppy Belgian Ale, not sure what this has to do with a Bock though (call it Lentebier instead maybe). Batch seems to be pretty different from earlier ones, maybe even worth a new entry.

Draft @ Oirschots Bierfestival. I’m sure I’ve had this before, probably pre-RB. Hazy deep amber color. Off white head. Aroma’s of herbal hops, fruit. Ratronasal there’s caramel, sweetness, light bitter. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with caramel and moderate bitter. OK beer, but IPA? I don’t think so.

Bottle at home, thanks to my lovely girlfriend! Very dark brown with beige head. Raisins, light licorice, soft spicy notes, light cognac and brandy, caramel, toffee, marzipan, some alcohol, light red berries. I’d say about medium sweet and even less bitter, quite a light taste for an almost 10% beer. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not a typical BA imperial stout but also not a bad beer.

Golden colour. Aroma has some skunky hop and citrus. Flavour has some straw and is fairly dry.

Dark blond colour. Aroma and flavour are full of candied tropical fruits. The bitter/sweet balance is very good. Floral undertones throughout.

Sampled @ NL Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2017. Dark orange to reddish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, a hint of red fruit, some bitter. Meh. Not very good.
