Bottle. Pours a pretty hazy golden, small kinda fizzy white head, dissipates quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is grains, some citrus, grapefruit, bread. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, some pine, bread, grains, citrus, caramel, grass. Light plus body. Not bad at all actually.

Frm a 650ml bottle on 13/7/2014 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a clearish golden with a big white head. Hasa light fruity aroma with a hint of yeast. Flavour wise, it’s very fruity (orange and lemon) and features a relatively assertive, zesty, quite refreshing bitterness. Has a slightly creamy texture and medium carbonation. A nice golden ale.

Bottle in our hotel, Monterey, last knockings of 29/04/14 - acquired from Bottle Barn, Santa Rosa. Clear golden amber, moderate off white swirl. Nose is caramel malt, light pine, bitter orange, straw. Taste is caramel malt forward, orange pith, grapefruit, pine resin, straw. Medim boded, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Ok IPA - no show stopper.

Bottle in a hotel room in SF, February 2014. (my first one from this brewery) Dark amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of fruit, pine, malt and some hay. A bit anonymous and quite sweet. Drinkable but not that interesting.

bottle on 8/18/13 from a run down liquor store in Crescent City, CA - Pours dark copper-amber with minimal head. The aroma has caramel malt and maybe a little citrus. It tastes sweet at first with toasty malt. Moderate, green hops bitterness kicks in. It’s medium bodied with lingering bitterness. There’s something different about it compared to most IPAs but it’s alright.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours ruddy dark brown with a creamy tan head. Malty aroma. Med + body. Flavor is fruit, roast malt, a little rye spice and some chocolate. Finishes less than dry; fruity. Pretty good "amber".

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a slight white head. Aroma is floral hop with some caramel backing. It’s almost chewy. It almost suggests cola. Then it settles down to slightly burning hop over adequate caramel. The question: what hop? Not citrus. Maybe floral. Seems earthy. And the burn increases. Burps good too.
