Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a fine minerally crispness. Airy malts, mildly sweet and with a trace of dry cream. Hops are mildly spicy floral orange. Little marmalade and touches of lemon and grapefruit peel. Finishes a little crisp with mild hop spice lingering on. Nicely joined up and pretty drinkable.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit and grapefruit aroma. Summer fruit and grapefruit flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and grapefruit linger with light pine and light white wine.

Draft. Rich mahogany beer with a cream head. Sweet malt aroma. Sweet caramel and light grapefruit flavor with light fruitiness and alcohol. Medium-plus bodied. Caramel and alcohol linger with grapefruit and light pine.

Sample at the Bistro’s DIPA-festival 2015. A bit hazy amber/orange with a white head. Hoppy with grapefruit, pineapple, some hay and light caramel. The finish was bitter.

imperial stout. Dark brown color. Tons of dark chocolate and chili in the mouth. Sweet dark with dark chocolate and roasted malt character with a lot of mole. Big dark chocolate, chili finish. Big and bad ass. Love it a million times over.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA as Mavericks Rye Pale Ale. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is a little rye and a little fruity. Med body or nearly. Flavor is almost fruit perfume, with rye and some slightly roasty malt. Pretty tasty for the low ABV.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent perry color with a slight white head. Aroma is lightly fruity, mildly zesty/spicy. Med minus body. Flavor is very mild fruit/zest with mere hints of spice. Lawn mower beer. At best.

Keg at Hamilton’s Tavern, SD, 12/11/14. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose carries nice coffee vibes, light roast, coffee cake, dark chocolate. Taste comprises coffee grinds, earthy tones, roast malt, vanilla fudge, cocoa poweder, light charr. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid coffee forward stout.
