8 oz draft at Track 7 Brewing into a half pint glass. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, light caramel, tropical fruit. Tastes of pine, grapefruit citrus, floral notes, piney hops. Medium body with a dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel. Well balanced.

Bit over 3 oz draft at Track 7 part of the flight. Dark brownish black with off-white almost tan head. Aromas of pine, citrus, roast, floral. Tastes of pine, caramel, dark chocolate, citrus. Medium body and dry. Slight creamy mouthfeel. Pretty nice.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber brown with a beige head. Treacle aroma. Med + body. Flavor is caramel/treacle, brown sugar with something like floral/fruity hop. It’s not dry, but not all that sweet. Decent drink.

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Bottle dated 5/21/2014. Clear golden yellow with half a finger or so of off-white head. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel, citrus, tropical fruit. Tastes of sweet malt, citrus, caramel, Medium body with a dry finish. Malty mouthfeel. Solid, bit too malty for my liking.

Tap at West Coast Brew Fest 2014. Pours hazy orange gold with a beige head. Aroma suggests melon. Med body, almost. Flavor is very hoppy - lots of floral, tropical fruit.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark copper with a near-white head. "Whiskey" notes for aroma. Med + body. Flavor is very rye with some mild treacle. Hop is somewhat eclipsed by the prominent flavors. Wood is detectable. Over all it’s pretty "whiskey". No heat issues. Marvelous drink.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours med gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, maybe cat pee. Med + body. Flavor is like the aroma and more, followed by a nice toffeeish caramel. Delicious.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours golden amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is fairly tropical fruit. Suggests mosaic. Med body. Flavor matches aroma, but may be a little earthy. Finishes fruity and floral with lots of non-harsh hop. Finishes towards dry and bitter and very tasty.

Sample at The Bistro DIPA-Festival, February 8. (my first one from this brewery) Hazy golden/orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, caramel, hops and some hay. The finish was dry.
