Notes from January 2011 Part of a random six pack I put together at New Beer. Couldn't find enough questionable winter warmers that were new to me. Organic(& possibly fresh as the full shelf would usually indicate, but not always; no BBD). Rounded pint glass. No added coloring. Just a plain chill hazed yellow gold. Inch of lightweight white head. Active carbonation. Smell is of unidentifiable berry & berry-flavored Nerds candy(dusty corn syrup). Perfumey. Taste is a briefly sweet, barely tart, dry berry wheat beer. Berry/red grape tartness lingers around a bit gaining just a puff of bitterness in the finish. Feel is glassy, moderately carbed & dry. Faint wheat texture. Alcohol is negligible. I felt a bit off after drinking this. Never had anything acai to compare this too.

Sampled from the tap at Stone San Diego Airport. Pours a clear amber with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has notes of bread and grass with sine earthy sweet grains supporting. Flavor has slightly sweet bread with some leaves and wet grass underlying.
