Bottle at home. Slight gusher on uncapping the bottle. Pours hazy amber with short lived head and loads of yeast particles and some bigger chunks floating around the glass. Sweet sugary caramel malts, spicy and quite aggressive yeast, orange peel, faint hint of bandaids, leatheriness, slight citrus tart, mild cloves, white pepper. Wears that abv like a pushup bra. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Sharp in the mouth possibly because of crazy amount of yeast and high abv. Haven’t had a tripel in a while, quite enjoyable.

opent met werkelijk een enorme gusher, gelukig had ik er al rekening mee gehouden, minpuntjes... schenkt caramel bruin met dus enorme beige kraag. Aroma van caramel, rozijn, kandij suiker, alcohol, mout, donker fruit. 0.33 l bottle from ’Speciaalbierpakket.nl’, best before October 2018. Slow gusher! Clear, dark brownish amber with a massive, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit roasty aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, clove, overripe banana and some chocolate. Quite sweet, sugary, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, raisins, overripe banana, some clove and hints of chocolate, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, slightly roasty and a bit dry finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Too much carbonation, a touch too yeasty, other than that a solid brew.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Very hazy orangish brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, overripe dark fruit and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
