(Bottle) Mahogany colour with brief, frothy, tan head. Malty, toasty nose with notes of dark bread, caramel, apricot marmalade, honey, chocolate and orange. Malty taste with caramel, dark bread, sultanas, brown sugar, chocolate, cinnamon, a touch of Earl Grey tea, port wine and a mild spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Full body, sweet. Tasty and well balanced doppelbock. Very nice.
