Originally rated January 2005. Heading down to Cuba in a week, I decided to grab this brew which is self-proclaimed as "La preferida de Cuba". It poured a light golden colour with a small white head, but some good lacing. The nose was rather malty and the taste started on a bitter note and then finished on a clean grassy mouth. Good carbonation, and probably very good for the Cuban heat as a refreshment. Other then that, nothing special. Sampled from their green 330ml bottle.

Originally rated January 2005. Just came back from Cuba, and got a chance to try their second most popular brew - after Cristal. This one is a bit stronger as the name says: fuerte. Sampled from a 350ml brown bottle and also had it from a can. Poured a golden colour, deeper then average with a descent head. Some lacing was left on the glass and a small coating from the head stayed on the top of the beer the whole time. The nose was mostly malty. The mouth was of sweet malt, with mild bitterness and a smooth finish. Average mouthfeel with good carbonation. Overall, a better brew then Cristal, but pretty mild for a stronger beer.

Bottle 35cl (labeled Cubanero Fuerte). Pours clear golden with a small fast disappearing white head. Slightly better than Cristal, but still nothing to write home about. Another drinkable, but quite boring and pretty tasteless pale lager. I probably would not drink it again unless I somehow find myself on Cuba.

330 ml bottle from long time ago and no exist places Gambrynus in Warsaw (Blue City Center). and 355ml can from my friend Tomek. Thanks for this. piana w obu przypadkach sporawa, srednio trwala, jasna zlota barwa, lagerek wodnisty, malo slodowy i malo chmielny, ot tak do wypicia latem, bardzo pijalne wiec niektorzy wysoko ten rarytas ocenia:)

Bottle 33 cl, label as Cubanero Fuerte. Golden, clear with a medium but short lasting white head. Aroma of straw, malt with a light hoppy sence. Mild sweet with a malty ending. Watery, but better than expected.

35cl bottle. Golden colour with minimal and quickly diminishes white head. aroma is slightly corny and mild malty. Flavour is moderate malty with a watery final. Carbonation is medium. Body is light.

Dark golden colour. Alcohol comes through a bit, adding sharpness, but diminishes quickly and ends up being watery. Maybe a faint of chocolate in the aroma. Pretty boring experience.

Labeled Palma Cristal. Mild smell of hops. Pale golden colour, foamy small head. Watery, a faint of sweetness. Very light aroma. Decent palate.
