Bottled. Deep golden, no head. Sweet and papery. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A decent tropical lager without outstanding features.

Quite pale. The aroma actually shows some vague hop, which is appetizing relative to the other Cuban lagers. It’s quite light in body, with a slight hoppy bitterness, and vague graininess. Not bad, maybe got a fresh one.

Full gold colour. Aroma mixes malts, grains and alcohol. Flavour does much the same. The body is big for style and there is a slight hint of hop spiciness to balance off a slight alcoholic firmness in the finish. More flavour and better balance than most macro lagers I’ve had, which allowed it to stand up to nearly 100 cans in my two weeks in Cuba. Near flawless construction - folks who think Budweiser is well made could learn from tasting around the world.

Golden colour with absolutely no head. Aroma of malt, metal and slight citrus. Light-bodied; Mild malty/metallic taste. Aftertaste clean and fresh-no tastes at all. Overall-nice for a cuban beer! Very nice for me to try, as it is a Cuban beer and almost impossible for Americans to sample these beers! I had this bottle at the Winter Party at Oakes' place in Toronto, Canada on 05-December-2003. Many thanks to Joey_capps for supplying this twelve ounce bottle for the party!

Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of slight fruits (peaches and pears) with some slight malt. Light-bodied; Malty flavour with almost nothing else-fairly watery. Overall, not really worth trying, but as an American-a nice treat as we cannot regularly drink Cuban beers! I had this bottle at the Winter Party at Oakes' place in Toronto, Canada on 05-December-2003. I owe a large thanks to Joey_capps for bringing this twelve ounce bottle for us to try!

Blond color; small head, big bubbles. Bad skunky aroma. Simple-to-bad taste, a bit sweet; yeast and bread. Watery final. Oh my God…
