Bottle shared on Level 42 14/03/2017. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a halo of loose white head. Aroma is solvent, jammy fruits, salty and lemon. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody, salty, wine, white grape, salty, earthy, apricot. Palate is grainy, tangy, moderate carbonation, woody dry finish. Interesting beer. Harsh finish.

Bottle procured from the Beer Gonzo online shop. Pours a mahogany colour with a swiftly vanishing beige head. Aromas of sour cherries, red berries, raspberry. Flavours of grapefruit, lemon zest, light caramel action. Tart fruit linger on the palate. Nice.

330ml bottle purchased at the Merton Beer Festival and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting thin bubbly white head. Sour aroma like an unblended lambic. This is unbelievable. It’s not an IPA it’s a hoppy unblended lambic. I love the aroma, I love the hops (could be toned down like the aged hops the Belgian lambics use). It’s amazing. I British lambic that has hops popping out of it. The hops are English. It’s amazing. When I thought I had everything this amazed and surprised me.

Bottle at The Arcade Street Tavern, Ipswich. Pours hazy pale gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of light sour, flowers, lemon. Light sweetness and bitterness, medium sour. Light body and slight oily texture, carbonation is average.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus. Modest haze on this pale yellowish – gold beer, no head. Palate is light and fairly dry. Modest carbonation. Weird sweet and sour medicinal things. Acid. Floralness. Light finish. Pretty skewed and uncomfortable.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Fergie. Pours unclear gold with a bubbly, white head. Bland aroma, faint chlorine, maybe some sweat. Light sweet flavour with some herbs, menthol, some funk, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some more weird menthol and green herb, faint acidity, wheat, hay. Not excellent.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to Kenny, 09/02/17. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pissoi, lemon rinds, straw, earthy, spice, white pepper, tangy peach. Taste comprises lemon sherbets, light herbs, spice, grains, light funk, spice, tangy citric peel, green berry funk, light seaweed. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok simple sour.
