Bottle 25cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Strong alcohol nose. Murky deep amber colour, shortlived fizzy tan head, no lacing. Aroma dark malts, roast, oak, whisky, vanilla, dark fruit. full-bodied, creamy to oily texture, flat carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, Rich taste, above medium sweet and light bitter, alcohol less prominent than expected and well-integrated, malty, caramel, oak, whisky, fortified wine, vanilla, dark fruits, raisins, candy sugar, spicy tannins, quite boozy but surprisingly well-integrated, well-balanced and well-made, excellent stuff.

Trockener, herb malziger Beginn mit drückender Holznote. Kakao, Alkohol, Eiche, Bourbon. Würzig, ziemlich trocken, mittellanger Abgang. Nicht wirklich rund. 9/8/8/8/13/8

Cremiger, weich alkoholischer Beginn mit Nuancen von Vanille und Oxidation, die aber vermutlich von der Fasslagerung kommen, die ihrerseits deutlich mit Holznoten in den Vordergrund tritt. Weich bleibend, der Alkohol ist nie wirklich Thema, malzig-karamellig, milde Herbe, mittellanger Abgang. 10/9/10/11/11/10

Starts milder than exspected, malty, roasty, some alcohol. Notes of some sweets. Finish well balanced, again milder than exspected, some more coconut notes. Surprisingly drinkable for its strength. Good one!

Starts milder than exspected, woody-malty, some whiskey hints, mild sweetness. Mild fruity touch of berries. Finish more balanced, surprisingly mild. Shy bitterness. Strange finish. Interesting beer!
