Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Fine roasty malty aroma. Starts earthy-malty, roasty notes, some chocolate. Mild sweetish background. Well balanced finish, earthy-sweetish malty. Nice!

0,33 l bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. BB 31.08.2026. Pitch black in the glass one finger beige foamy head. Looks really good. Roasted malty aroma, some nuts. Taste starts also roasted malty, nuts, coffee, increasing dry grainy with bitterness. Citrus fruity parts in the second part. Below average carbonation. Nice one.

Virtually black with a fleeting head. Big coconut aroma with toffee undertones. Sweet with lingering coconut. Full-bodied, mild carbonation. Alcohol well hidden. A bit heavy on the coconut, but quite decent.

Bottle 25cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Strong alcohol nose. Murky deep amber colour, shortlived fizzy tan head, no lacing. Aroma dark malts, roast, oak, whisky, vanilla, dark fruit. full-bodied, creamy to oily texture, flat carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, Rich taste, above medium sweet and light bitter, alcohol less prominent than expected and well-integrated, malty, caramel, oak, whisky, fortified wine, vanilla, dark fruits, raisins, candy sugar, spicy tannins, quite boozy but surprisingly well-integrated, well-balanced and well-made, excellent stuff.

Cremiger, weich alkoholischer Beginn mit Nuancen von Vanille und Oxidation, die aber vermutlich von der Fasslagerung kommen, die ihrerseits deutlich mit Holznoten in den Vordergrund tritt. Weich bleibend, der Alkohol ist nie wirklich Thema, malzig-karamellig, milde Herbe, mittellanger Abgang. 10/9/10/11/11/10
