32 oz growler. Almost clear gold color. Aroma is a little catty. A tad pissy. White bread, onion. Taste is mild cat pee, not overwhelming, big amount of herbal pine. Bitterness is overwhelming, moderate. Overall, a bit catty and lots pine.

32 oz growler. Aroma is fruity, peach, pears, mild mango. Flavor is fruit forward with a mild pine bitterness. The bitterness is moderate. ABV is mostly hidden comes as it warms. Very flavorful for a single hop ale.

500ml bottle pours out copper amber topped with a small head. Nose is sweet caramel malts some toffee and booze. Taste is more of the of the nice sweet mix candy and some spice.

Taster pour at Craft Beer Race New Haven. Appearance is pale yellow (urine-like), with mild sparkle, small head, bit of lacing. Aroma is Pilsner malt, noble hops, cracker, vaguely metallic. Taste is strong cracker--rich, like wheat thins--cardboard. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation with finish as taste. Overall true to the pilsner style with the taste, while not unique, is strong.

Taster pour at New Haven Craft Beer Race. Appearance is light yellowish-brown (like ginger ale), with light sparkle and head, some lacing. Aroma is citrusy, pine, grapefruit. Taste is bitter pine, grapefruit, balanced with cracker malt. Palate is medium bodied with average carbonation, finish as taste and dry. Overall, lots of flavorful hops for a pale ale while still having a noticeable malt presence. Good.

Pours slightly hazed amber into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Tropical fruit and resin aromas. Sweet caramel and mango upfornt turning to dry, sharp pith in the lasting finish. Smooths out nicely as it warms.

Can, by way of a trade with Leighton. Cheers! Orange gold. Soft haze. Film of clingy, white head. Nose has pine sap. Ripe stone fruit. Fusty malts. Some strawberry toffee. Taste has fruity sweetness. Some spicy, citrus bitterness. Fairly full, chewy mouthfeel. Feels the full ABV. Chewy bitter finish. Not the kind of NE DIPA you’d expect at the minute. Ok.
