Pours hazy amber with a foamy white head. Aroma of peach, lactose. Taste has tart stone fruit, lactic acid, some sour grape. Palate has more lactic acid, more of those sour grape notes.

Canned 4/28/22, drunk 5/19/22. Don't know the appearance because Three Sheets did not offer me a glass and I don't care enough to ask for one. Smells like mosaic. Soft scallion, light pine, nectarine and lemon. How did this hop become ubiquitous? I mean, it's certainly better than the OG PNW crap (c hops, ctz) but still so underwhelming. That said, nebco is great and this is pretty well salvaged. Piney, malty, quite bitter. Good and dry. Pretty old school and lots of bitterness with light caramel and toast. Fine for the style but not the style I enjoy at all.

Draught at Rudy's New Haven, 5/29/22. Light haze. Coppery-brass. White head falls off instantly. Citra hops rise up juicily with plentiful honey and a hint of caramel and sourdough from the malt. Clean, amply acidic but not too much so. Soft, playful, fruity yeast. No booze. IPAs have definitely caught up to this so it's not quite as special as back in the day (though still very good). But this was way, way, way ahead of it's time and still goes toe to toe with any IPA out there. Glad to finally find the damned thing. Malty and soft, good attenuation, solidly bitter but juicy and fruity enough to please the NEIPA crowd too. A few extra points here for its innovation for its time.

Growler thanks to JMFP. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and pine. Slick body, grapefruit pith, melon, nice resin bitterness, very good.

12 oz. can traded by tfontana. Thanks Tom! Aroma is mostly coffee bean with mild chocolate. For the gravity of the beard has a lot of flavor. Lasting coffee mingles with oat chewiness and chocolate. Good mouthfeel and texture. Nice!
