Pale, fizzy. Hazy, could hardly look worse. Straw tasting beer is thin and bland. Not awful, but definitely sketchy.

12 fl oz bottle from Tescos, Ashford, Kent. Deep chestnut brown with a fast fading milk chocolate coloured head; aroma of demarara sugar; milky mouthfeel, incredibly sweet; some chocolate to finish. Reminds me of an old-fashioned milk stout.
Well done to Tesco for bringing different beers like this to the UK.

Bottle from Tesco. Very dark brown with a slight tan head. Sweet rum and raisin aroma with a touch of roasted malt. Flavour was also sweet, with a creamy mouth feel, more roastiness and some dark fruit. Ok, but I was tiring of it by the end of the bottle.

Bottle that I picked up at the large Tesco, Aylesbury, Bucks, 23-03-09 consumed 24-03-09 Pours very dark brown with a light beige head. Taste is sweet and with soft brown unrefined sugars very much to the fore. I also get some chocolate brownie’s with this beer, its a very easy supping beer and really not bad at all. Bottle. Black body with a frothy, tan head. Mostly malty aroma of roasted grain, chocolate, smoke and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter fnish. Medium body with ample carbonation and a thin texture. A good, malty beer that has plenty of things going to keep your interest, especially for a 4.4% beer. Sweeter than it should be for a schwarzbier, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet citrusy combined with a whiff of cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of cardboard, and light notes of malt, leading to a dry cardboardy finish.
