(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a tiny, white head. Fairly light aroma - perhaps a touch of corn. Light body, some bready notes and extremely, stickingly sweet corn flavours. Amazingly sweet. Some cardboard also. No hops it seems. Wauw this is bad.281106

12 oz bottle. Haven’t tried this beer in over a decade. Looks like a porter with opaque color and brown head. But it smells like a lager with crisp noble hops and grainy malt aroma. Taste just as it smells. Porter like sweet malt flavor but light crisp mouth feel of hops and lighter roasted malts. Really nice and refreshing flavored beer.

Poured a black dark brown with very light head. Very little aroma sweet malt if at all. Was an average dark beer flavor of malt.

Pours dark brown with ruby around the outside. Thick tan head and decent lacing. Aroma of malt and coffee. Medium-bodied and fairly bitter. Mild coffee and hops, along with some stale malt flavor. The sweetness dominates after the initial bitterness wears off. Some sour notes that I did not particularly like. The finish is creamy and sweet, with chocolate and some roasted malt. Okay, but a long way from my favorite Schwarzbiers.

A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with a touch of hops, while the flavor is only sweet malty. A somewhat boring beer.

Had a bottle of this in a trendy bar on the Oxford Jail site 02-04-06, I know it’s exactly the same beer as I recognise the badge but I was convinced it was called Bravara. Thin, no discernible taste, absolutely shocking.

Bottle. Almost no head - and what was - diminished right away. Pale yellow. Faint aroma of hops. Taste is watery.
