Black color with a fine tan head. Good lacing. Looks fine. Decent aroma also. Medium body and a mellow carbonation level. Balanced sweetness. Dark malt, some roast and some fruity notes. A quite fine and decent black Brazilian.

Bottle with red label at 4.7%; product of Canada (Saint John). Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is white grape/fruity/floral. Med body, nearly. The Nelson is clear and there's citrus as well. Flavors are relatively mild. Decent, but not exciting. Better by far than typical "premium" lagers.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours dark gold with a small white head with zero retention. Aroma is caramel, syrup, cereal. Taste is syrupy sweet, cereal, zero bitterness. I had it down as a Vienna lager.

From old tasting notes. Opaque black, brown with a bubbly brown head. Sweetish roasted malt aroma, reminiscent of burnt caramel. Initially, a sweet roasted malt flavor that becomes bittersweet and then finishes somewhat dry like a London Stout. Nice lacing.
