Aroma: Sweet malt with caramel. Flavour: Malty sweet with fruity sweetness and caramel. aftertaste is malty sweet and slightly fruity bitter. Colour: Dark brown with an offwhite head. From: Voldby Købmandsgaard Sept. 2018.

Aroma: Malty sweet with roasted malt, chocolate and licorice. Flavour: Roasted malt with chocolate licorice and coffee. Aftertaste is roasted malt. Colour: Black with a brown head. From: Volby Købmandsgaard Ølmesse Sept. 2018.

Bottle, 4.8%. Hazy dark amber/brown with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, caramel, bread, little dark fruit and hop. Flavour is malt, caramel, bread, medium sweet, little dark fruit, hop, grass and a little bitter.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, neat, light brown head. Ashy, tarry, oaky nose. Medium body, heavy roast, tar, peat, iodine - no mellow Bourbon at all. Lowish carbonation. If a Bourbon barrel was involved at all it must've been a very old one! 100119

Bottle 0.5l, thank you, René! Cloudy, reddish amber colored. AROMA- pleasant alcohol, fruity, strawberry, apricot, red berries. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, lightly tart, lightly warming, strawberry and other berries, fondan, fruit pulp, praline, liquer. Fuller bodied.

Bottle from Voldby. Clear very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, caramel and light hoppy - herbal. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 101218

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange. Off white and creamy head. Aroma is grainy and toasted malt. breadish. Slight herbal. Bitter and dry malty finish. Dry and herbal to breadish finish.
