Pours black with a fading pale tan head.
Nose shows gentle roasted malt, nutty and toasty notes, soft figs and coffee notes.
Flavours include more roasted malt, massive liquorice and molassess notes, fairly sweet almost cloying. Some biscuity malt but the molassess character dominates.

Can. Pale amber with a white head. Classic grapefruit pine breadcrust weeds aroma. So it tastes. Pretty clean, just enough sweetness and substance to the malt to support the increasingly piney hops and firmish business. Nothing new but fresh and tasty.

Can. Black, 1/2cm tan head is soon less than a coat. Roasty aroma with some dried fruit, vanilla, pepper, mocha. A taste suggests there is added vanilla and maybe chocolate and caramel too. The roast slips back a bit which is a shame. Fairly bitter finish is convincing. Not bad.

Can. Cloudy yellowish orange with a loose white head. Fresh bread aroma with limes and minor tropical notes. A bit of sweetness to it lends it richness whilst staying pretty clean. Lime and moderate bitterness at the end.

From a 375ml can on 25/3/2026. Pours a hazy dirty deep golden with a smallish head. Has light stone and citrus fruit aromatics on the nose. The taste of all strong and punchy peach, apricot and passionfruit, finishing with a decent, very tangy bitterness with some orange and lemon rind presenting. Fullish body with average carbonation. Quite intense but has really nice balance. Impressive.

Can. Amber, modest white head. Aroma of sticky breadcrust, pine, hints of tropical fruit & grapefruit. So it tastes. Lots of caramel, tenor register citrus and pine ooze forth before brooding bitterness.

Can. Cloudy pale amber , loose white head. Aroma of crackery dough, yuzu juice, white pepper, coriander. Light bodied, spritzy. Dryish with punchy citrus and a spicy bitter finish. Yuzu is prominent without being dominant. Lively, refreshing.

Can. Label still says "Revered" but more prominently says "West Coast Red Ale". Clear reddish amber with a cm of off white head. Aroma of caramel, some stewed fruit, grapefruit, some pine. The hops mask the malt a bit in the taste leaving just a little sweetness before fruit and resin. Moderate bitterness. Nice quaffer.

Can. Clear gold, a 2cm white head collapses a bit. Aroma of citrus rind, slightly crusty bread, pine, some hints of tropical fruit. Moderately sweet with light bread and a melange of citrus peel. Just hints of tropical fruit before pine oozes through to a fairly bitter finish. Good.

Can. Clear amber. A good cm of white head. Aroma of pine, slightly lolly-like citrus, caramel, breadcrust. Moderately sweet with firm piney bitterness. Wouldn't have minded a few more bubbles. Solid brew.
