On tap at the brewpub. An unclear yellow-golden colored beer with an orange hue. The head is white and finger-thick, leaving nice curtains. The aroma has pale malts, pine cones and grapefruit, all rather gentle. It's medium bodied and very softly carbonated, semi-dry, with a light bitterness. The flavor has bready pale malts in the back, along with butterscotch, or at least something resembling butterscotch. Pine cones and grapefruit. Bready pale malts and bitterness in the finish. Decent, but not very interesting, I'd take Bloom over this one anytime. 221220

On tap at the brewpub. It's an unclear pale yellow colored beer with a dense finger-thick white head leaving lacing. The aroma has tropical fruityness, grapefruit, pine cones and hints of white bread-ish pale malts. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, though with some residual sweetness. Nice bitterness level too. The flavor has some pale malts in the back, but the tropical fruityness from the hops dominates. Pine cones and grapefruit. Lasting hop driven finish. Sure a fine one, especially considering the ABV. 221220

On tap at the brewpub. A clear golden colored beer with a dense finger-thick white head leaving curtains. There's butterscotch in the aroma, along with piney, resiny hops and some bread and alcohol hints. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, lightly warming, and quite dry. The flavor has less butterscotch than the aroma, with piney and resiny hops doing most of the work. Some bready pale malts in the back, and a touch of alcohol. Quite dry and bitter finish. A decent one indeed, except for the butterscothch of course. 221220

Bottle split at the Digital Shadow Tasting, thanks to Henrik, 13/07/22. Chestnut brown with little in the way of a head. Nose is dusty dark fruit rinds, earthy, nutty, toffee, light booze. Taste comprises treacle toffee, earthy, stewed fruits, mead like qualities. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a warming boost of alcohol. Pleasant enough sipper.

Hand bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a deep brown - not really black - with a small, off-white head. Sweet, roasty nose - a whiff of coffee. Rich, sweet body, lowish carbonation. Roast, chocolate and licorice with a vanilla touch. Roasty bitterness, boozy. 020922

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Henrik. Pours clear burnished gold with a sim, bubbly white head. Nice aroma, dark fruits, apple. Moderate sweetness, not cloying, honey, some berries, soft heat. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Fairly dry in the finish, more honey. Enjoyable.

Level 6 tasting. Cheers Henrik. Almost clear amber beer, no head. Light palate, still has a little fine carbonation. Caramel malts, sweetish. Ripe fruits. Touches of honey, caraway and herb on the back end that gets a little alcohol spicy. Interesting icebock.
