On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear reddish orange body with a thin pink head. Aroma is mostly blackcurrant. Flavor is like blackcurrant juice, slightly acidic but mostly sweet, very sweet. It’s supposed to be some elderberries juice here as well, but the blackcurrant is dominating everything. Medium body and sticky sweet blackcurrant aftertaste. Not my cup of juice.

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma is weak malty with some kind of general fruitiness. Flavor has mild, pale malt, hint of fruit and low bitterness. A bit thin bodied and short in aftertaste. Mostly boring.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pitch black body under a short living, thin tan head. Strong aroma of dark malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dry fruit and alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and boozy with roasted dark malt, chocolate, coffee, dry fruit and decent bitterness. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste that’s sweet, warming and some boozy. Not super elegant, but quite a pleasant sipper that tastes best in smaller amounts.
