From a 375ml can on 8/5/2019. Pours a clear deep golden with a small head. The nose is quite strong, fruity and a touch herbal. Flavour wise, it features some biscuit and caramel malt, along with some reasonably firm herbal and rye like hops. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A not entirely typical and reasonably solid IPA.

Can. Almost black with a wisp of light tan head at the rim. 3- Aroma of chocolate syrup, some roasted malt and grass underneath. Smooth, medium to low carbonation. Not as sweet as expected and the roast and a little licorice step up to match the chocolate. Not bad.

Pint on tap at Preachers, Hobart. Red/brown beer with thin white head. Medium carbonation, tiny bubbles. Smells like Xmas cake, dark fruit, cinnamon. Looks an archetypal 1970’s English pint. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Finish is potpourri, ginger, star anise, and raisins. Late malt notes complete the picture. Interesting beer.
