Description
We started a Brewery as a means to contribute to a truly artisan craft. We believe in friendship before finance and are happy to help others in this industry as we have been helped by those who came before us. We are bold believers in the fact that a well made beer can cool your spirit and warm your soul.
Our flagship Mason Ale Works production brewery opened in 2017 at our San Marcos Urge Common House Location. Here JJ “Sweet Meat” Jimenez, our Director of Brewing Operations, helms the wheel. All of our can releases like our popular Jambi West Coast IPA and Respeto Mexican Lager are brewed and canned in these four walls. We also crank out an extensive line-up of one-off releases out of here.

Can because why not. Dark brown. Thin head. Toasty, lots of chocolate, light banana on the nose, touch of vanilla. On the palate, dark flame-kissed sugars, mellow background banana. Well balanced, integrated between the rich pastry elements and a bitterish, roasty underlying stout.

Collards and guava aroma. Cloudy orange, headless. Guava, lemon, prickly pear, brief appearance of biscuit. Medium body, easy carbonation. Not for me, no sir.

Cool to see a famous Welsh story in the name of a beer. Very few places are more beautiful than Wales. Pours a pitch black hue with a small brown head. A huge sugary sweet nose. Maple syrup, vanilla, some cake. Yeah, this is big. Very sweet, but it works. Slick palate.

Tap at DU. Sweet chocolate marshmallow aroma. Super syrupy and sweet, you could add chocolate syrup and not notice. Like eating a chocolate pudding cake. Tasty, but excessively sweet.
