Our flagship Mason Ale Works production brewery opened in 2017 at our San Marcos Urge Common House Location. Here JJ “Sweet Meat” Jimenez, our Director of Brewing Operations, helms the wheel. All of our can releases like our popular Jambi West Coast IPA and Respeto Mexican Lager are brewed and canned in these four walls. We also crank out an extensive line-up of one-off releases out of here.

Pint can from Festival Appleton Darboy, 4/19/22. Hazy orange, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of floral hop, melon, mango. Taste is melon, grapefruit, passionfruit. Juicy, moderate bitterness. Lives up to the name.

Dark brown. Just a thin head. Aroma has both coffee and dark fruits on it. Lots of coffee on the palate, too. Medium body, just enough, some light dark sugar notes, bit of roast/toast from the malts. The fruitiness from the aroma doesn't really come through on the palate. Relatively simple coffee stout.

Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with small beige head. Tons of marshmallow, vanilla, touch of graham cracker, light chocolate and coffee. Decent, though a bit too much marshmallow in my opinion. Would have preferred slightly more balanced flavours.

Tasting at Ryan's, can
Cloudy pale blond colour. Nice aroma of white grapes, tropical fruit. Soft mouthfeel, low carbonation, light malt base, no malt to speak about, but at least also no oats and chalk; a bit fruity, but lacking ooompf, low bitterness, some alcohol warmth but not boozy.

16oz @ Sales Force. Appearance: murky pale copper with peaches pulp flowing. Aroma: candied peaches with some lactose notes and a little sourness. Taste: along the same lines, very sweet, candy-like, with a little acidity. Overall: a liquid candy.

Poured from 473mL can. Opaque dull dark orange with small white head. Sweet peach, vanilla, lactose, not all that well integrated, a bit messy. Have had much better smoothie sours.

Dark peach juice colour. No head. Lots of peach, and vanilla, lactose, so like a peach creamsicle sort of thing. It's okay, but so sweet and with just a limited tartness I am thinking that it's a bit unbalanced.
