Appearance- amber, quite light, a rocky 1-2 finger beige head. Aroma- lots of hoppy, resinous fruit, tropical fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, caramel undertones. Taste- juicy fruit, bitter orange, pine, mango hints, hop resin, fruit juice, bitter finish. Some malt in the background. Good stuff.

355ml can from 'Beers of Europe' (Australia must have moved a bit closer to the UK without me noticing). First beer on a 'random tasting evening' in the UK's Virtual Bar thread on 20th Sep 2017. Poured into my huge 'Judas' glass, mainly because I haven't used it recently and I do not own an Australian beer glass of any kind. Hazy dark amber, sediment floating and settling as I write this, good beige crown on top. The nose is both piney and malty. The malts bugger off in the mouth and the piney, resinous hops take over completely: nice. Sediment still swirling around, my pouring must have been too robust: adds to the flavour I suppose. Semi-bitter, pithy grapefruit notes edging into the taste now I am well into the brew. Just taking some Brie and salted biscuits with the remainder of the beer, goes well together.

Tap at the.Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grassy, weedy, citrus tropical fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a crisp fresh, fruity, light dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Fourteen Dollars a pot? Nice but not "that" nice. Not sure where all the profits are going here, but not the best feeling for me as there is no way it's worth what they are charging and that's reflected in my rating.

White frothy head stayed on a translucent, light copper coloured body. Pineapple, malt & hops aroma. Medium to full bodied. Airy, minimal carbonation & cloying on the back. Metallic tastes with a massive hop burst & marmalade, jam, over ripe fruit & read. Nice one!
