Can. Moderately hazy orange with a good cm of white head. 3+ Aroma of mandarin, berries and their leaves, light bread. Fruity but still savoury with leafy and bitter flavours keeping the sweeter citrus in check. Moderate bitterness is enough for a definite finish. Refreshing.

Can. Very clear amber, loose white head. Aroma of citrus (mainly mandarin), coloured pencil shavings, crackers, herbs. Moderately sweet with light bread rather than crackers, nice citrus but the pencil shavings and onion herbs are not so great. Modest bitterness. Never clear to me whether these are single hop beers or just named for the main hop - anyway this one didn't work so well for me.

Can. Unclear pale orange with a good cm of white head. Aroma of Meyer lemon, grass, gooseberries, pine, light bread. Very toppy hop notes with pungent citrus, pine and Kiwi tropical notes but really no interaction with the plain and austere malt. There's a slight twiggy harshness to the bitterness too - perhaps also due to the lack of support. But the aromatics are very nice.

Can. Very dark brown with a good inch of light tan head that fades to a fat coat. Aroma of mocha, nectarine, grapefruit, pine: so American Style means hoppy. Sweet and really not very roasty at all with mocha and fruity hops. Piny but not v bitter at the end. Doesn't do quite enough to be as strong as 7.8% and isn't very stouty, but tasty.

Pours black, large pale tan head.Nose does banana lollies, and soft roasted malt.Flavours include more banana lolly. Little. A bit of roasted malt.

Can. Black, a light tan fades to a good cm. Aroma is whisky forward with singed praline and honeycomb, heavy roast, slightly jarring citrus. Smooth, full bodied, lowish carbonation. Big whisky, vanilla and praline flavours but getting towards dry at the end. Again the citrus doesn't quite fit. Perhaps it will fade in time - this comes in a 2 500ml tin pack.

Can. Very clear orange with a 2cm white head. Aroma of dope, mango skin, berries, weeds, bread. Dryish is good but empty in the middle not so much, particularly at 7%. The aromatics are there but there's not much bitterness either. Lacks presence.

Pours hazy gold with a large quickly fading head. Nose shows apricot, floral, spicy and grassy hops, and soft bready malt behind.Flavours include more bready malt, a bit of a cardboard-like stale character, along with passion fruit and a bit of apricot.
