Can shared courtesy of Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear reddish amber with a thin whispy white head. The aroma is big resinous hop, sweet malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, grainy malt, light metallic hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at the Small Bar, Bristol 18/12/2016 at an advertised 7.1% ABV. Jet black with a tight, beige, head. Plain chocolate, leafy hops, some liquorice and roasted malts, leading to a dryish finish. Very good.

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Chocolate, toast, nuts. Pretty nice stout, but don’t get excited.

Can from Brewcraft at home after Beertopia. Deep amber pour. Aroma is pithy bitterness with biscuit malt. Nice. Taste is a bit more subdued but still pleasantly bitter - zesty and pithy with solid biscuity malt. Not bad. I like the IPA and IIPA better though.

Can from Craftissimo at home. Slightly translucent deep orange amber pour with dense white head. Aroma is sharply hoppy boozy and toffee sweet all at once like Tuatara Double Trouble - dank and ripe fruit too. Taste is very big - dank pine bitterness with sharp boozy bite and sweet caramel malty richness. Really good but the IPA was even better.

700th! Can from Brewcraft at home. Slightly translucent bright orange amber pour. Aroma is really juicy pineapple orange with pine. Taste follows - pine and citrus bitterness with rich malty booze. Great IPA - would definitely get again.

Probably the best beer from my Borefts trades, together with the Pirate Life IPA.
Clear orange to amber beer, huge creamy to frothy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing. Aroma: bit resinous, pineapple, heavy, bit of sweet malts, caramel, some citrus, quite some grapefruit. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, lots of grapefruit, citrus, very bitter, bit grassy, hint of sweet malts. Aftertaste: very dry, resinous bitterness, quite a lot of grapefruit, citrus, lovely session ale!
