From a 355ml can on 26/10/2015. Pours a deep golden with a huge fluffy head. The nose is sweet and fruity with a touch of spice. The quality is evident on the first sip. On the malt side, there’s caramel and biscuit, which is followed by oodles of fresh fruit - peach, pear, apricot and melon. Then come some big hops, with a hints of grapefruit and rye. Full bodied with a slightly thick texture and average carbonation. Fuck this is good. Definitely one of the tastiest APAs I've ever downed.

From a 355ml bttle on 7/10/2015. Pours a slightly opaque golden with a small head. The nose is floral with dollops of light tropical fruit. Flavour wise, there’s lots of stone and tropical fruit, and some firm herbal hops, which linger at the back of the mouth. Medium bodied with the carbonation a touch above average. Amazingly flavoursome for something that’s almost a light beer, and would make a cracking session beer. The only knock is that it actually lacks a bit of sweetness for mine.

From a 500ml can on 29/9/2015.Pours a slightly cloudy deep golden with a big foamy head. Has a gorgeous floral aroma featuring masses of tropical fruit, zesty citrus and spice. The flavour is huge - a big caramel malt background, lots of sweet apricot, mango and peach, honey spice and rye. It features a huge herbal, resiny bitterness, providing perfect balance to the sweetness up front. The palate is thick and a bit syrupy with average carbonation. Fuck this is good stuff - it’s got great length, complexity and character, and is supremely harmonious. A truly world class DIPA and one of the finest Australian beer I’ve downed so far.

On tap at Foresters Hall: Pours surprisingly dark. A little light on for noticeable aroma. Toasted, roasty flavours. A nicely balanced malt profile. Not as awe-inspiring as their hopforward beers, but a nice drop for a winters afternoon.

Can. Just hazy gold with a white head. Vibrant aroma of passionfruit, peach, mango, pine, grapefruit. Fairly thin with highish carbonation that makes it a bit astringent. Hints of bread and caramel, fruit is sharper and less expressive than in the aroma. Dry at the end with bitterness that’s maybe a little excessive for what the light body can take.
