Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Aroma is grainy, yeasty, floral and dusty with banana hint. Pours clear amber color with large soapy off-white head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt and slightly tart dried fruitiness, following is grassy, peppery and honeyish, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Very good Belgian strong ale after quite a lot of time…

Clear blond yellow beer, white creamy to aery head, unstable, falls down pretty quickly. Aroma: lots of coriander, yeasty, spicy, grains, hay, cow fodder, cardamom, a little fruity, some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy, lots of coriander and other spices, dry, grains of paradise maybe, some banana. Aftertaste: very herbal and spicy, a little sweet, grains, more spiced.

Yellow colour with lasting fluffy head. It's got a soft mouthfeel. Lightly malty. Good balance of sweet versus dry.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy golden colour with a thinnish soapy looking white head. Aromas of apricots, floral and herbal with hints of pale fruits. Taste is fruity and spicy with more stoney and pale fruits, lemon, some more floral and herbal notes and a nice amount of peppery spice. Fruit, floral, herbal and peppery spice on the finish. Beautiful balance of flavours. Thin to medium body with aggressive carbonation on the fizzy palate. This is an excellent way above average Tripel i will definitely be revisiting this again.
