(Bottle 75 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a fairly neat and dense, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose where I even imagine, that I can detect the grape juice. Full-bodied, sweetish with some fruitish, appleish notes and an alcohol that’s a bit too pushy for my taste. Solid if not exactly exhilarating. Fantastic bottle though. 010107

75 cL bottle. Pours clear golden with quickly disappering white head. Clear aroma of barleymalt. Round mouthfeel. Taste is barley malt and fruity sweetness from the grapes. Elements of caramel hidden beneath as well as alcohol. Overall a good beer dominated by barleymalt which has been nicely adjusted in taste with the sweetness of the grapes.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy, orangey brown with an off-white head. Very fruity aroma with notes of cloves and yeast. Quite full-bodied with lightly sweet, roasted malt, oranges and other fruit and then a vinous edge with some almond notes and yeast. Wauw, the yeast has really been working overtime here producing all these interesting esters. Overall fairly dry and lovely. 081206

70 cl bottle. Pours golden red, with off-white head. Sweet caramel-malty smell which goes clearly into the taste. Very round mouthfull with almost honey-like sweetness. Gets slightly rye/bread like in taste as it gets warmer. This is getting better every year but still remains a simple Christmas brew (which is nice contrast to some of the too complex beers).
