Bottled(500ml). -as Duckstein Original
Pours a nice dark orange/pale amber colour with small off-white head and pleasant toffee fruity nose. The aroma is toasted malt and toffee with notes of nuts and fruits. Quite nice brew.

Bottled. Clear amber, average head. Aroma of ash and apples. Sweet with lifeless rounded mouthfeel. Sweaty and raw with evident vegetable flavours. Almost Carlsbergy.

Nice wee head of medium consistency. It is the amber colour I say. Smells pretty god and beerlike, just as God intended. Taste is all malty and has some coffee taste going for it... but that might just be my taste buds. Some parts of this beer make it taste almost like a stout. Grainy and hoppy at the end of the beer. Rather good beer, which I had before, but alas forgot all about it.

Bottled. Clear, golden beer with a small off-white head. Sweet and malty aroma with some vague hints of alcohol. The flavor is malty, with caramel, fruit, hops and some apple-notes. Medium body and a finish with both bitterness and roasted notes. (060921)
