"Stougamer Zwickl : Sud No 1.2", Flasche (33 cl) von Ines’ Beerstore, Erbshausen. - Orangegelb, gut trüb. - In der Nase feines, leicht brotiges helles Malz, leise Anklänge an Karamel und salzige Cracker, schwerer zitrusfruchtig-grasiger Aromahopfen, Orangenschale. - Antrunk hefig weich und satt hellmalzig mit leicht ranzig-fettiger Note, die an Butterkeks denken läßt. Schwere Orangenschale und Gras gehen in eine zart ranzige Bittere über. Milder rezent, ölig schwer, hefeweich. Im Abgang kräftige zitrusfruchtige Bittere. - Ungewöhnlich schweres, aromatisch gehopftes Zwickel, trotz leichter Schwächen rund und süffig. Empfehlenswert!

6/8/2018. Bottle from Die Bierothek, Wurzburg. Pours clear dark amber / copper colour with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, pine, toffee, light hops and fruit. Medium plus sweetness with light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Decent brew and nice example of a style I don't normally particularly enjoy.

"Stougamer Pils : Sud No 1.6", Flasche (33 cl) von Ines’ Beerstore. - Hellgelb, leicht trüb; feinporiger weißer Schaum. - In der Nase brotiges helles Malz, leise Anklänge an Karamel, vor allem aber eleganter, an Pale Ale erinnernder zitrusfruchtiger Aromahopfen: Pampelmuse, Gras. - Antrunk hefig weich und voll hellmalzig (Butterkeks). Knackige, aromatisch grasige Hopfenaromen gehen leider gleich in unangenehm ranzige Fehlaromen über. Milder rezent, hefig weich im Mund. Im Abgang kräftige aber wieder ranzige Bittere. - Nicht so recht überzeugend: zu hefig und zu ranzig.
