Draft pour to a schooner at West Seattle. Funny the power just went out in Seattle, and the road rage in the busy intersection out front is at an all time high with the lights out. I guess its all my fault! A muddy orange and brown color with a thin fizz head. Big spicy malt aroma. Flavor is an earthy constant, bready malt, soft spice, and a mild hop bitter finish.

Draft pour pint at West Seattle. Finally made it here. Happy hour bargain pint. A clear golden pour with a rocky head and lacing. Bland aroma.of straw and sweaty hops. Flavor.is all Pilsner, with a sweaty hop profile to pair. Heavy corn. Little citrus to pair with the advertised bill. What an absolute mess this beer was for me. A high expectation for a mosaic pale, and a result of an off balanced, sweaty hop, overly corny grain Pilsner. Ouch. I’m typically an extremely generous and optimistic rater, but this was bad.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond color with generous head. Delicate citrusy touch in the aroma. The mouthfeel is dry, there is some hay and crackery malt flavor, robust bitterness with some citrusy resins.
Quite nice.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy amber color. Classic American Belgian yeast producing a beer fruity like apricot jam, full of esters, very sweet, but also with feeling of swamp water and no character.
Not a bad beer; just… know what you are going to get.
