Pint at the pizzeria. Pours dark brown, with a small, rocky, beige head. The aroma is pumpernickel, toffee, pecans, and some pine. Sweet and very malty, with a nice touch of toasty bitterness. Pretty nice.

16oz goblet hazy dark amber with one ring of white head. Nose has mostly malt, cracker, toast, some light bitter green. Flavor doesn’t have a ton of sourness, some bitter greens, cracker, toast, caramel, a little red grape. Sweet finish. Not overly sour. Drinkable but seems like a mistake.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a hazy orange with a small off-white head. Biscuity sweet malts in the nose with a heavy hop dose - greasy hop melange. Thick and syrupy caramel, a ton of hops leading to a bitter finish. Hops are a bit "soupy" though - not so sharp and distinct - still very enjoyable. Boozy finish. 210113

22oz bomber shared by Tim. Awesome and simple beer. Aroma is strong peppers in your nose, just the way I like it. The flavor was much more restrained, not hot in the throat like I would like. Very simple basic lager and the peppers really died down. But the nose is fantastic. I could sniff it for a long time. Thanks Tim.

22 oz bottle purchased at Dillon Ridge Liquor in Dillon, Colorado. Pour is a light haze golden, with a smallish white head. Aroma is bright fresh clean green pepper with a bit of spicy hot pepper. Really smells like Anaheim, fresh and clean. The nose is mostly the peppers, not a whole bunch else. Taste is the peppers on top of a very simple toasted malt base. The peppers give a nice bright heat, then fade smoothly. Nice integration of the heat and vegetable of the pepper. As it warms, get a bit of a buttery finish, though does not detract too much from the pepper. Palate is light to medium bodied, un filtered mouth feel. This beer was all about the peppers, and it did that well.

Bottles via a trade with beerandblues2. Pours with a large white head over a clear golden body. Aroma of light hops and honey. Really a small hoppy nose for a pale. Taste is grainy and hoppy. Light carbonation, water like mouthfeel.
