18-06-17 // 500ml bottle, bought in Baku by my brother. Dark golden beer, clear, white lacing. Pale Lager taste, so nothing interesting, grainy malty. --- Beer merged from original tick of Afsana on 18 Jun 2017 at 13:44 - Score: 4. Original review text: Last Azerbaijan bottle. Passed bestbydate. Easy to drink watery grainy lager.

50cl can from a minimarket near the train station in Baku and enjoyed at the night train to Sheki. As expected mostly the usual grainy pale lager aroma. Feels almost cleaner and more drinkable than Xirdalan. Sweet and grainy, but drinkable enough.

Green 44cl bottle from some minimarket in Baku. Pours clear very pale golden with a minimal, white head. Light grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables and possibly hints of grassy hops too. Watery, slightly unpleasant and not much to write home about. Rest will go down the drain.

Clear 44cl bottle from some minimarket in Baku. Pours clear pale golden with a modest white head. Light grainy aroma with slightly fruity notes, hints of cooked vegetables and possibly hops too. Watery, mild and not much flavour, but cleaner than expected. Maybe it’s the heat, but it’s somewhat drinkable and refreshing. Liked it more than the regular Xirdalan.

50cl bottle a buddy muled back from Baku. Pours a clear yellow with some cloudy white head. Nose of dry cracked grains, straw, lemon, yeast, dough, something industrial. Flavor has some corn, yellow carrot, unfermented honey, straw. Finished sweet. Had much much worse.

Bottle in a trade with Nisse666 - cheers Thomas! My country #156. Pours golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet corn, grain, and grass. Very sweet, light bitterness. Light ot medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Finish is sticky with a slightly unpleasant bitterness.

bottiglia 50 cl spina, giallo chiaro limpido, schiuma evanescente, buona carbonatazione, aroma leggero malto, in bocca malto e leggero amaro. Classica lager da battaglia. Ricordo di un bel viaggio.

05-01-17 // bottle at home. Azerbaijan version. Pours a clear golden beer. Horrible nose, cant really describe the taste. Tastes like old grains with some water. Not very enjoyable.
