Bottled(500ml). -as Karpackie 9%
Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, few streams of carbonation. The nose...glue with touch of fruits. Sweet malty, cardboard and faint fruity taste, alcohol is dominant. Easy drinkable for Polish ESL and definitely one of the better I’ve tried.

Bottle (Karpackie 9%) courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!)Poured a very nice deep orange-amber body with a medium to big thick white head that didn’t go away fast. Faint nose, some light lemony notes, dust and apple. The big, sweet, almost sticky maltiness and alcohol show up immediately in the taste but are never overwhelming nor offensive. The taste is light for the strength and remarkably soft. It gets cut off fast though and leaves almost no aftertaste, possibly making it even more drinkable. Simple, no hop, but there are far worse choices when you want to get wasted on beer.

0.5 l bottle from a store in Durres, Albania. What a coincidence two my fellow ratebeerians had it just recently from a completely different source. Beer itself poured golden body with medium sized head. Stinky aroma, cheap metallic malts, skunk of vegetable cornflakes. Flavor, however was quite pleasant for such a brew. Yes, watery, but also slightly sweetish malty with long grainy finish. Some grassy notes as well. Good for an NA! Drinkable and may be even refreshing.

0.5l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a dull golden body with a small white head that went away fast. Strong nose of soggy cornflakes. Lemony soggy cornflakes in the taste, a touch of honey. Not offensive and ok for a n/a. Having drunk several Van Pur "masterpieces" I wasn’t all that thrilled with the prospect of trying this, but it wasn’t all that bad...

Can (BB 01/2009)
Golden color, small white head. Sweet corn aroma. Watery, sweet malty supermarket lager. Low bitterness, fizzy. Some plastic notes. Anyhow not the worst of these low gravity beers I bought from Slovakia.
