[Canned] Pale yellow, brief head. Papery nose. Sweet and bland with some cardboard, but no trace of hops, nor bitterness. Industrial swill.

Can. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Heavy malty sweet aroma. Very sweet but nice flavor. Not that alcoholic but actually a little watery finish. Nice palate.

Bottled. Amber/copper coloured, not much head. Sweet caramellish hoppy aroma with hints of malts and weak alcohol. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol and sweetish sugary finish. Finish also surprisingly dry. Feels a bit unbalanced in finish and aftertaste.

Copper brown, not much head. A bit sweet, lemony hoppy aroma. Sweet, slightly grassy flavor. A bit bock-like palate. Carbonated finish with papery malty notes.

Canned(500ml). -I really like the most when I find some new beer from “never-heard-of-it” brewery, and then on the can it says famous premium quality beer…uninteresting beer with bad metalic taste and not so pleasant watery bitter finish

0.5l can, with either 3.5% or 2.8%(says obj. on the can on the second number) courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!) who brought it to Slovenia. And it’s obviously made for Swedish market. How (and more importantly, why) it got to Slovenia I don’t know. Poured an enormous thick white head. Pale yellow/golden colour. As I opened the can, some skunk wafted through the air. There was no trace of it in the actual nose and taste though. The nose was ok, a bit inconspicuous, but sweet and malty. The taste was a huge letdown though. It’s damn empty, and consists of metal and maybe lemon. Some bad industrial prickliness. Very weak and indescribable aftertaste. Ugh. Makes me wanna bother with going out of my way for Edelmeister even less.

Can, alc. 4.0% (BB 11/2006)
Golden color, mostly vanishing head. Papery malty aroma, some grass too. Sweet malty, flat mouthfeel. Have they added sugar here? Some harsh bitterness in the finish.
