Draft pour pint at Beardslee, Bothell. This place has quickly become my "crazy day at work, get me a pint of any beer you got" kind of place. Lucky for me, the beer is good. Dark chocolate brown pour with a thin film head, after the cream settles. Soft, toasty malt aroma. Flavor is a cool milk chocolate, some vanilla, a creamy finish. Lighter stout, which I can easily enjoy. Not much of a lingering flavor to it, but it’s good while its there. Good Irish Stout for sure.

Draft pour pint at Beardslee, Bothell, while waiting to give away a free box of beer. Fun! Golden orange, hazy pour with a thin fizz head. Orange fruit, sweet malt, and pine hops aroma. Nice, orange fruit covered hop flavor, low bitter, high cool. Pleasant pale, with a ton of flavor. Very nice.

Beardslee, Bothell, cask conditioned. These guys always seem to put fun stuff in the cask. Plus the bartender here always makes me feel like the boss when I order it on my usual weekly basis. A rye beer on cask though, that is new to me. A solid pale here. Dark copper orange pour. Sweet malt, and rye dominated aroma. Flavor is a touch sweet, but not enough to complain. Quite bitter linger to follow. A huge rye constant here. Really jumps out. A little nutty. Very flavorful. Very unique pale here. Good stuff.

Draft pour pint at Beardslee, Bothell. A beer that the servers here offer a taste first, when someone wants to just "go for it", so my expectations were estimated. A hazy golden orange pour. I don’t know if there is more ginger in the aroma, or flavor here, but it’s heavy either way. Slight sweetness going on. Hop steady underneath. Extremely cool, amd decently refreshing. Not my ideal IPA, but this works. Another sushi beer.

Draft 12 oz pour at Beardslee, Bothell. Dark brown pour, almost as dark as their stout. Had to wonder if they poured me the correct beer at first. Toasty aroma. Spice. Some cocoa? Flavor is thick, creamy, very chocolate for a dubbel, but it seems to fit. Toasty, heavily spiced flavor, but also has a sweet side. Not like any belgian ale I’ve ever had, but it’s not really like any beer of any kind, I’ve had either. Strange, but very interesting. I like it.

Cask pour pint at Beardslee. God damn this is tasty. I don’t know why I’m a little surprised. I expected an overly sweet, too heavily candied stout, but everything seemed to go just right here. Dense black pour with a dark brown cream foam head. I don’t think I’ve ever had a beer with this much chocolate. Ten times more than their chocolate filled Porter. If this beer had any more chocolate in it, it would simply be chocolate. With a cool peppermint of course. This beer is exactly what they say it is, only executed perfectly. Underneath the creamy milk chocolate and peppermint, their is soft tones of toast malts, and coffee beans. Soft vanilla note to only make it better. This seems sweet looking back on it, but doesn’t bother in any way. Ordering another pint of this. This is likely the best dessert like beer I’ve ever had. Please bring this back, so people I know can remind me that I’m crazy.

Draft pour pint at Beardslee. Head beertender’s favorite crafted onsite beer, though it took me this long to finally grab a pint. Coffee and chocolate. What can go wrong. Pours a near black. A rich milk chocolate to compliment a bold coffee bean aroma and flavor. Sweeter side end result. Slight roast that lingers. A porter like this is probably one of the easiest styles to drink for me. Smooth, chocolatey refreshment. Very tasty!

Draft pour pint at Beardslee. A cloudy golden pour with a thick mousse foam head. A faint aroma of straw grains and hops. Flavor is a biting sweetness, with a straw constant. Creamy. Exceptional for a blonde, but still not very interesting as an overall.

Draft pour pint at Beardslee. A shiny golden pour with a fading active head. There is so much cold brew coffee going on here, the base beer and style was left unrecognizable. I had to ask what it is. So much coffee, but in this case, its super good. I don’t know what coffee they used, but that will be my next question. A coffee flavor without any bitterness. A creamy coffee vanilla constant. A touch sweet. Damn this is good. Premier coffee ale here.

Draft pour pint at Beardslee. Hazy golden pour with a thick coat of foam head and lacing. Very refreshing beer here. Has all the great things going of a citra heavy beer. Juicy citrus. Straw like grains come through with this more so.in the aroma, but flavor as well. Nice citrus constant to cover. Not bitter. Tasty, very refreshing pale.
