On tap @ Mikkeller. A really deep dark one, let's call it black in color and the top is almost absence. A thin sidesticking brown thing, but I would not call it a head. Not to extreme on the nose really, Kinda hard to get anything here. Let's let it heat some first... Licorice perhaps? The sweet kind I think. Think I'll have a sip. Oh, yeah., it most definitely has some big flavor this! Lots of licorice, the pastil-kind. It's heavy roasted, kinda cloudy-creamy in the mouth and as I mentioned lots of flavor. The hops is really present here, almost in a grassy way. Some cold coffee and pine cones also. Lots of dark chocolate in the finish and aftertaste. Really yummy, but where did the aroma go? 02.05.2013

On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. This is a deep dark brown one and it has a small kinda sidesticking brown head. It's quite roasted on the nose. I get a grainy chocolate cereal thingy and notes of both cow dung and traces of paint. Smells nice. Nice chocolaty flavors. Chocolate pudding! Lots of grains here also. It's lovely carbonated and it has a good oily mouthfeel. The roastiness from the aroma is also present in the taste here. A well roasted one without being burned. Some sweetness is also making an appearance in the finish, and that's quite welcoming to be honest. A nice one! 02.05.2013

22oz bottle poured into a shaker. Lucky batch 13. Pours a hazy gold with minimal head. Aroma of citrus. Tropical fruits and a little caramel. Taste is medium bitter. Loads of citrus and pine with a solid malt backbone and a warming finish. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, great. I could dribk it everyday.

[5/1/13] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Black with a light brown head. Very roasty aroma with a bit of hoppy notes. Roasty flavor, pretty bitter, with a burnt bitter finish with light hoppy notes and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied.

[5/1/13] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Black with a brown head. Aroma has some roastiness, vegetal mnotes, a bit of dark fruits, a bit of alcohol and light smoky hints. Bittersweet flavor with chocolate and roasted grains. Full-bodied.
